This year, volunteers from AARP's Tax-Aide service will visit two Coweta library locations, providing free help with tax preparation and filing.
Bring this year's W-2s, 1099s, and any other forms indicating federal income tax paid, along with a copy of last year's income tax return. With a special focus on taxpayers with low- and middle-income and those age 60 and older, these tax prep sessions will offer a valuable service to the Coweta community. Dates and locations:
- A. Mitchell Powell Jr. Public Library - Wednesdays, February 3rd through April 14th, from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
- Central Library - Tuesdays, February 9th through April 13th, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
We also have tax forms available at all four Coweta library branches this year.
